The week of August 21 - 25, 2017
For all classes we follow a similar format for each section of the chapters we read. On a single sheet of paper, students should write down the Key Terms and definitions and answer the Comprehension and Critical Thinking questions at the end of the each section. There will be occasional worksheets about the chapters, and at the end we will take quizzes on the sections and a test on the chapter. This work will constitute most of the points available that will result in grades.

Introduction of Textbook Assignments
- Each chapter is divided into sections. We will read one section per day, usually one chapter per week.
- For each section students are to define all the Key Terms and answer the Comprehension and Critical Thinking questions in complete sentences.
- Students may use their section work on the chapter quizzes, and their chapter quizzes on the tests.
- There are often worksheets related to the chapters assigned for classwork, homework, or added to the quizzes or tests.
- All classwork, homework, tests, and worksheets are graded.
